Community/Charity Projects

We were delighted to join a team of volunteers on one of the coldest winter days in January 2025 at Garons Park in Southend to plant 300 trees. Despite the weather, members of our staff turned out with shovels and spades to support Garons Park CIC conservation project.

Legra Electrical & Renewables have committed to plant 5 trees for every solar panel installations we complete. Surprisingly, that offsets the carbon equivalent of driving from Southend Pier to the Pyramids of Egypt!!

We continue to support a number of varied charities, our latest being one that helps supply chocolate selection boxes for under privileged children in the local area for Xmas. 

Keep an eye out for more Community news – including redecorating a flat for the Domestic Violence Charity and a tree planting day in January 2025 in the Southend on Sea area.

As part of our commitment to a green and better environmental future, we pride ourselves on donating our time to benefit local community/charity projects.

Recently, we helped to restore an overgrown garden to offer a safe and welcoming space for a ‘mother and baby’ hostel for Domestic Violence Survivors in Margate, Kent operated by a Domestic Violence Charity.
